Julie Chen Moonves will host the popular reality show that has been a summer sensation Big Brother. The show returns to CBS on August 5 for its third season. Chen Moonves has been an integral part of The Talk since 2010, where she was moderator as well as host. She was a writer prior to becoming a host, but her desire was to write. In fact, it brought her an Emmy. She also won an Emmy for her role as host of an excellent entertainment talk show. Between 2002 and the year 2010, Chen Moonves was the co-host for CBS News' morning weekday broadcast The Early Show. Before that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor as well as anchor of the news segment on The Early Show. The anchor was escorted to Cairo in the aftermath of 9/11, and she conducted an intense and thrilling interview with the father of the primary terrorist who took over the world. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news programme which featured celebrities such as Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves has also worked at CBS's New York City station WCBS as a reporter, anchor, and anchor (1997-1999). Before joining CBS News at the beginning of 1995 Chen Moonves had been as a reporter at WDTN TV Dayton. She worked as a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the news affiliate of CBS in the late 1990s, as well as an assistant desk in ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991), while finishing her senior year at University of Southern California.
